Bobby Shmurda has raised more than a few eyebrows after sharing an inside look at how he spent the holidays.
On Monday (December 25), the rapper (real name Ackquille Jean Pollard) — who is currently in Dubai — surfaced on social media where he highlighted his holiday escapades, in which he unveiled a new face piercing and more.
“Who da f-ck did this? I didn’t even see this happen,” the rapper kicked off the video clip, pointing to a new face piercing. “Who da f-ck did this?”
The camera then panned to Shmurda, accompanied by several young women, dancing to Birdman and Lil Wayne’s “Stuntin’ Like My Daddy” — “It’s Shmurda da boss,” he said jokingly, singing along to the track.
Later, the rapper — without naming names — appeared to be upset that his party was short one guest. “I wanted her to come but it didn’t fit the budget. But, it’s okay next month I’m going to get a new budget.

Shmurda’s wild Christmas celebration follows his admission that while he made it through a six-plus-year prison sentence with no sex, abstinence was out the window.
During an appearance on Kick Game’s Shopping For Sneakers this summer, the Brooklyn MC revealed that he unsuccessfully took a shot at celibacy, barely making it past the halfway mark of his targeted stretch.
“I just got off celibacy this year,” he admitted. “It was supposed to be 90 days but I did 45 because some shit happened … It was my first time, celibacy, y’know what I’m sayin’? So some shit happened and, y’know, I repented for seven days, then I caught a relapse again.”
While explaining how difficult his run was, the 29-year-old said that he did “relapse” three times and had to watch porn to make it work. “I think I slapped one off,” he conceded when probed by the host.
Earlier this year, the 29-year-old vowed to change his life after committing a series of criminal acts including shooting 13 people, ultimately landing him in prison.
In the pic shared via Instagram, the rapper can be seen sitting among other individuals in a meeting. “Me explaining how I shot 13 people, sold drugs since 12, 6 years of prison and so much more,” he captioned the post. “I’ve managed to turn my life around and become the entrepreneur that I am today!!!!!!”
He added: “I’m going to be telling one of the best stories in #History this year #ThankGod yo daddy’s daddy ain’t even come like this #Shmurda.”
Following the rapper releasing his breakout single “Hot N—a” in 2014, he was hailed as one of the early pioneers of Brooklyn Drill Music. He was on track for superstardom before his rise was halted after being convicted on one count of third-degree conspiracy and one count of weapons possession.
The rapper copped a plea deal in September 2016 after pleading guilty to conspiracy to possess weapons and possession of a weapon for his involvement in the GS9 gang. He was initially sentenced to seven years but was granted two years credit before the sentence was handed down.
While locked up, Shmurda racked up 11 violations, including possession of a prison shiv, drug possession and fighting. He was eventually released from prison in February 2021.
Since his release, Bobby has been keeping a low profile. However, while teasing new music he allegedly berated Gunna over his RICO plea deal.
