Fat Joe draws comparisons to the group TakeOff and the legendary Hip Hop group Run-DMC while mourning the loss of Migos singer in a recent interview.

Joey Crack was the guest on the most recent podcast of Stephen. Smith’s Cadence13 Know Mercy podcast, which was released on this Wednesday (November 16). When he spoke about the losses Hip Hop has continued to endure and the plight of Hip Hop’s artists, the Bronx rapper pointed out that Take was not only the definition of a “regular rapper” and called his style the Run-DMC from the current era.

“We had ‘Rest in peace Biggie,’ ‘Rest in peace Jam Master Jay,’ 2Pac, but they were like spaced out,” Joe stated. “It’s as if they’re getting killed every week. TakeOff has recently been killed, rest in peace He’s the Run-DMC of today.”

He said: “He’s not no regular rapper, he’s a big deal.”

Fat Joe then went on to express his regret for his loss and emphasized the importance of lifting the youth of our country in order to end the violence.

“It’s sad, Stephen A. I wish we wouldn’t hate our own and wouldn’t be jealous of our own,” Stephen A. declared. “Rappers were once heroes to now being targeted. … We must do is to tell youngsters that they are crucial. If I watch an innocent brother of his pass away, I consider hundreds of families who could have been left out of the jobs he offers them. His family is struggling for eternity I pray for all of these children.”

Boosie Badazz Tributes Takeoff On New Song ‘Rocket Man’

Memorials and tributes to TakeOff have been flooding into all over the Hip Hop community since he was tragically killed and shot at the 810 Billiards & Bowling in Houston on the 1st of November. As he sat down to collect his thoughts while dealing grieving the loss, Offset broke his silence on Tuesday (November 15) by posting a touching end-of-year message posted on Instagram.

“Dear Take, doesn’t feel real posting you like this ….This still doesn’t feel like reality,” the man began. “I’ve searched for the appropriate words and there’s nothing that are suitable. Till we meet again, rest in Power. I am so grateful for you.

“I wish I could hug you one last time,” Set continued. “Laugh one more time. Have a smoke one more time. Do it one more time. I know someone who has the same soul as you is currently in heaven.”

There are no arrests in this case at the present moment.
