Ice T Speaks On Classic Hip Hop Acts Selling Out Arenas.
This summer has been a great one for veterans in the rap game.
For one thing, Curtis“50 Cent”Jackson has done very well on his world tour.
50 Cent boasts of selling out the arena everywhere.
Then there are the Wu-Tan Clan, Ice Cube, and LL Cool J tours, all sold-out arenas.
To commemorate their outstanding accomplishments, fellow OG Ice T gives accolades.
Most often, OG’s aren’t recognized for their continued contribution to hip-hop.
So, Ice T wanted to point out that OG’s can still draw considerable crowds.
Thus, solidifying their legendary status in being able to have longevity.
According to Hip Hop Crown Nation, credit should be given to those who paved the way for hip-hop’s 50 years.
And classic hip-hop music is still making headlines as concertgoers celebrate their favorite rappers.
From what I’ve noticed.. Classic HipHop is selling out Arenas world wide! NAS, WuTang, 50cent, LL, Snoop, IceCube.. Our fans are showing up and having a blast!! It’s a great feeling. Respect to the OGs! We’re not done… 💥💥💥💥

Furthermore, younger rappers seem to be having a difficult time filling stadiums.
Artists like Moneybagg Yo and Lil Baby have allegedly canceled shows due to low participation, as stated by Hip Hop DX.
What does this say about longevity, as it relates to more seasoned rappers?
Can we assume that people appreciate vintage rap over the new school?
Perhaps, OG’s know something they could teach young artists?
Would do you think?
