IDK DROPS POIGNANT NEW SINGLE “MONSIEUR DIOR”

The day is today, Maryland rap multi-hyphenate IDK is building on the momentum of a stellar 2022 year with a new song “Monsieur Dior.” Listen here via Clue/Warner Record.
The track is a fusion of jazzy production and catchy beats “Monsieur Dior” is immediately enthralling and comforting. The calming vibe of the song is evident in the music video. Check it out below.
Although “Monsieur Dior” boasts a tranquil atmosphere, the lyrics carry an edge. “I got a problem showing people love that I never had,” IDK rhymes in one of his reflective Instagram caption-ready tracks. “This room is kind of dark, I’m trying to get it bright.” The track was produced by TK and TK, the track features “Huit Octobre 1971” by French jazz group Cortex which is a tune MF DOOM fans might recognize from the legendary artist’s “One Beer.” In the cool black and white music video, IDK is accompanied by us on a trip to Howard’s Homecoming and the Dior show in Paris in honor of the legendary MF DOOM.
IDK is traveling together with Pusha T for the rap legend’s highly acclaimed It’s Almost Dry tour where DJ IDK will perform music from Simple. The album is an eight-track collaboration with Kaytranada, a Grammy-winning DJ/producer. On the bill are the track W13 (Free Slime/Drive) Two recent singles featuring the rapper’s signature funny bars and percussive flows.
Many ways “Monsieur Dior” is an opportune moment to move to the next phase of the career of IDK.
