While the shoes officially launched at Montreal’s Off the Hook boutique on Jan. 13, the first people to line up arrived the night before at around 7 p.m. to guarantee their purchase.
By the next morning, with a snowstorm in full swing, the lineup wrapped around the block with hundreds of people hoping they can get their hands on Nike’s new sneakers.
With quantities being limited, Off The Hook explained on their website that if there were any leftover shoes from the launch, they’d sell them on their website the following day on Jan. 14. That never wound up happening as the boutique sold out on launch day. Other retailers across the country carried the dunk on the Saturday.
Montreal boutiques have seemingly run out of stock. The Nike “Montreal Bagel” dunk low is still listed as going on sale tomorrow, Jan 17. on Nike’s American SNKRS website.
