Nicki Minaj has changed the release date of her forthcoming fifth studio album from October 20, 2023 to November 17, and revealed its title: Pink Friday 2, a sequel to her 2010 debut studio LP, Pink Friday.
Minaj did not reveal the reason for the delay, but on Twitter said it was “due to some really exciting news that I’ll share with you guys @ a later time.” The same post promises a tour in early 2024 behind Pink Friday 2, the follow-up to her 2018 album Queen. Read the announcement below.
There’s been no shortage of new music from Nicki Minaj in recent months. March saw the release of the single “Red Ruby Da Sleeze“ along with the news of Nicki’s own record label. She’s teamed up twice with Ice Spice — on the “Princess Diana“ remix and on “Barbie World“ from the Barbie movie soundtrack — and once with YoungBoy Never Broke Again (“WTF“) and Kim Petras (“Alone“).
