PARTYNEXTDOOR has shared his first single in nearly six months. The OVO-signed, Ontario R&B fixture’s new track, “R e s e n t m e n t,” follows January’s “Her Old Friends” as his second single of 2023. Both tracks are certified downers, with the singer lamenting the bad choices of his romantic partner in the self-consciously toxic, sadboy style that’s become his label’s calling card.

On “R e s e n t m e n t,” PND sounds brooding and sultry over a self-produced beat as he scolds his girl for staying out past 5 a.m. — something few artists could pull off. It’s a far cry from his hedonistic December Sex In The Porsche,” but that doesn’t mean it won’t be fun to blast in your car on a late-night cruise every now and then. Listen below.
