Thai rapper Sprite is joined by GUYGEEGEE for his latest rap-rock track that is retro-inspired, “rakaikhraimepn” (I Can’t Love anyone) via HYPE TRAIN.

The track, produced by Nino, is rapped from the perspective of a romantically depressed person who’s experiencing a failed love affair. Sprite raps, “taweth`ekhym`ngchanepn Hero / t`neth`aipchanehluue`eekh Zero” (She used to see me as a hero / When you leave, I’m just zero).

The video is a fusion of scenes from a 1980s talent show with scenes from the current day, in which the two rappers confront rejection — which began in childhood, and comfort the dejected man. Based on an Instagram post by this label, the video has been inspired by classic scenes in local blockbusters like ‘aefnchan “saaylfaa” and “ekaaekaa.’

HYPE TRAIN, one the most prominent hip hop-focused labels in Thailand has had an amazing success thanks to the most recent collaboration between its rapper the legendary Bobby along with Cambodian rapper VannDafor “BONG,” and the music video earning more than 30 million hits since the video’s premiere in October.
