Supreme/Duck Down Music

Duck Down Records is a independent hip hop label , founded by Drew “Dru-Ha” Friedman and Kenyatta “Buckshot” Blake in 1995. Duck Down was originally established as a management business which was responsible for the development for Buckshot’s band Black Moon and duo Smif-N-Wessun.
After the popularity in Enta da Stage and Dah Shinin’ – Black Moon and Smif N-Wessun’s seminal debut album released on Nervous Records – Duck Down signed a distribution agreement in partnership with Priority Records. Through Priority, Duck Down shepherded the release of Heltah Skeltah and O.G.C.’s debut albums Nocturnal and Da Storm and Da Storm, and also the growth in its supergroup underground Boot Camp Clik. In the latter half of the decade, Heltah Skeltah, and Boot Camp Clik member Sean Price released quartet of solo records through Duck Down throughout the 2000’s which brought the label into the digital age.
Duck Down is widely considered as a key element for East Coast hip hop’s mid-90s revival and is widely regarded as having an independent spirit.
Supreme has collaborated in collaboration with Duck Down Records on a new collection to be released in the Fall of 2022. The collection features original artwork by Enta da Stage and Dah Shinin. The collection comprises an Hooded Sweatshirt, two T-Shirts and an Beanie.
