SZA has announced the title of her highly-anticipated album and has decided on a possible release date.

In a lengthy interview to Billboard, the Top Dawg Entertainment singer told the magazine that her follow-up album to Ctrl from 2017 Ctrl will be titled S.O.S. and the album is expected to be released in December. However, she also said that she’s “currently stressed” about meeting the deadline and was mentioned throughout the interview as having doubts about her career path.

“I feel like music, in this capacity, I don’t see longevity,” she stated. “I enjoy creating I love to write I enjoy singing and I enjoy to share. But I’m not sure whether chasing fame or what I’m supposed be doing now is viable for me or anyone else. I’m going to take a shot in the air, and do my absolute best.”

Then she added, “I only do what I want to do, and this makes me feel free and safe and unrestricted.”

SZA has been ramping up the excitement surrounding her new album in the last few weeks, dropping her latest track “Shirt” and a “PSA” video preview on YouTube which teased further new songs. The singer, who was born in October stated to the TMZ that she had created more than 100 songs for S.O.S., and she said that the album would be out “any day.”

It is believed that the New Jersey native had previously stated that she was planning to release the album in summer. She was blamed by Top Dawg Entertainment executive Terrence “Punch” Henderson for the delay.

But, Punch pushed back on the rumors of a dispute between SZA and him SZA during an interview on Math Hoffa’s My Expert Opinion podcast in September.

“It’s not at all a secret. SZA’s coming very, very soon. We’ve pretty much got the album done…We know when exactly it will be going to drop,” he said. “But online, you can only have the ability to tweet a certain number of characters. It’s not possible to give an explanation of everything that’s going on when you’re at the moment and tweeting about something.”
